Introduction & Role
My name is Benjamin Schreiber. I have been part of Brenners Park‑Hotel & Spa for six years, and since 2024 I have been serving as Head of Purchasing – responsible for something that is often overlooked, yet absolutely essential to the daily life of a grand hotel: ensuring that the entire property is supplied with everything it needs to create an exceptional stay for our guests.
With my extensive background in Food & Beverage Management, I bring together operational purchasing, project sourcing, supplier management, disposition, and logistics into a perfectly coordinated whole. My ambition is clear: highest quality, absolute reliability, and a product selection worthy of the Brenners standard – from the smallest screw to the rarest vintage in our wine cellar.

How would you describe the work of your team?
We are the invisible force behind the scenes – the team that ensures every department of the hotel has exactly what it needs, at the right time and in perfect condition. Our product range is as diverse as Brenners itself: from simple essentials like toilet paper to freshly roasted coffee, all the way to exclusive rarities from our wine cellar that only a handful of hotels in the world can offer.
Our work never truly pauses. Each day brings new requirements, surprises, and exciting challenges that we tackle together.

Which departments do you work closely with?
In short: all of them. The Purchasing Department is a central hub within the hotel. Whether it’s the kitchen, service, housekeeping, engineering, or the spa – every department relies on us. That is why reliability forms the foundation of our work. Flexibility, forward planning, and an instinct for quality are our daily tools.
