Missions :
The Pool House Manager leads the daily operations of the Pool House ensuring an exceptional and personalized poolside experience for every guest. This role oversees the poolside food and beverage operation, leads and develops the team, and maintains the highest standards of service, cleanliness, safety, and presentation while fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects Oetker luxury hospitality standards.

Foster a positive, collaborative, and service-oriented culture focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate and define with the Restaurant Manager schedules and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods, special events, and seasonal demand.
Provide regular coaching, feedback and follow-up to support individual and team development.
Lead by example through professional appearance, positive attitude, and a strong commitment to gracious hospitality.
Supervise, coach, motivate, and develop Pool House hoteliers.
Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurants, lobby bar and the Pool House, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of service.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the hotel’s services, facilities, and amenities to offer recommendations to guests.
Welcome guests and maintain a visible presence within the operation, ensuring guests feel recognized, valued, and cared for.
Monitor the guest experience from arrival to departure, ensuring prompt service, exceptional hospitality, and immediate resolution of concerns.
Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally and effectively, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
Ensure all food and beverage offerings are delivered according to established quality, presentation, and service standards.
Ensure pool furniture, cabanas, umbrellas, towels, service stations, and guest amenities are properly maintained, arranged, and presented at all times.
Conduct routine inspections of the pool deck, Pool House facilities, storage areas, and service stations to ensure cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness.
Drive food and beverage revenue through product knowledge, strategic upselling, and promotion of seasonal offerings, specials, and signature experiences.
Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stock control of food, beverage, linen, and operational supplies
Review daily operational reports, sales results, and guest feedback to identify trends and improve overall performance.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, services, amenities, events, and promotions to provide accurate recommendations and enhance the guest experience.
Assist with VIP arrivals, special events, and high-profile guest experiences, ensuring tailored and memorable service.
Participate in recruitment, training, and development of Pool House hoteliers to ensure alignment with luxury hospitality standards.
Oversee POS transactions, billing accuracy, cash handling procedures, and adherence to established financial controls.
Conduct ongoing training focused on guest engagement, menu knowledge, upselling, service techniques, safety procedures, and Oetker brand standards.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with Engineering, Housekeeping, and other departments to address maintenance concerns and operational needs promptly.
What you bring:
Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar capacity with an understanding of luxury hotel standards of service.
College degree in Hospitality Management preferred or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, guest relations, and luxury hospitality practices.
Fluent in English; other languages considered an asset.
Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to reach, bend, balance and transport various objects weighing up to 50 lbs. repeatedly during a shift.
Frequent heat exposure, standing, talking, walking, grasping, using hearing acuity, seeing near, using depth perception, stooping, doing repetitive motions, bending, speaking clearly and hearing conversation.
