Missions: The Accounts Payable role supports the Finance Departments, of both properties in Capri & Palm Beach, in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments. Working closely with the Regional Head of Finance, this position contributes to the smooth execution of daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records and compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulations. The role is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and processing supplier invoices, ensuring proper authorization and supporting the efficient management of the company’s financial obligations.

This is a part-time position (50%) scheduled primarily during afternoon hours and will also provide remote accounting support to our sister property in Palm Beach, The Vineta Hotel, fostering collaboration across locations and ensuring consistency in accounts payable processes and financial controls. The position is based at Hotel La Palma, Capri, with the flexibility to choose being based either in Capri or Naples.

Profile: The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and highly organized professional with a strong sense of accuracy and accountability. The Accounts Payable role is responsible for maintaining and monitoring accounts payable records, ensuring that supplier payments are scheduled and executed on time through weekly payment runs and other approved payment methods. The position manages supplier account reconciliations, investigates and resolves discrepancies, and serves as the main point of contact for invoice and payment-related enquiries.

In addition, the role ensures the proper filing and archiving of accounting documentation in accordance with company policies, supports month-end and year-end closing activities by providing accurate accounts payable data and preparing accruals in collaboration with Department Heads, and contributes to compliance with internal controls, company policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements. Success in this position requires effective collaboration with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth processes, timely issue resolution, and the overall efficiency of the finance function.

Skills: The ideal candidate demonstrates accuracy, integrity, and a proactive approach to work. Strong organizational and time management skills, combined with a collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal abilities, are essential. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and USALI reporting standards is considered a plus and will be viewed favorably. Fluent English is required.
