Missions :
As the Bar Manager, you will have full responsibility for the overall operation, performance, and guest experience of The Bar, Coco’s bar and Pool House bar. This role oversees all aspects of bar management including staff leadership, operational excellence, safety compliance, inventory and cost control, and scheduling. Working closely with the General Manager of Restaurants and Bars to ensure a seamless guest experience for all while maintaining a premium level of service and attention to detail.
Profile :
Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurants, lobby bar and the Pool House, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of service.
Oversee and manage all daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, service standards, and facility readiness.
Lead, supervise, and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff, ensuring consistent adherence to company policies, service standards, and safety protocols.
Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback to maximize productivity and engagement.
Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships while controlling costs and minimizing waste to support profitability goals.
Ensure all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations are met, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, taking ownership of issue resolution to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational policies and procedures related to service, safety, and quality standards.
Plan, organize, and oversee recreational programs, special events, and activities to drive guest engagement and enhance the overall bar experience.
Analyze operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement action plans to achieve service and financial objectives.
Collaborate closely with other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Leadership) to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive guest experience.
Maintain bar equipment and facilities, coordinating repairs, maintenance, and upgrades as needed.
What you bring:
Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar capacity with an understanding of luxury hotel standards of service.
College degree in Hospitality Management preferred or equivalent experience.
Fluent in English; other languages considered an asset.
Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Passionate for food and beverage, strives to exceed expectations for service excellence with demonstrated understanding of international fine dining, wine, beverage and service standards commensurate of the leading hotels in the world.
Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, productivity analysis and labor costing, inventory management/controls techniques.
Leadership qualities to manage and train junior hoteliers.
Must be able to reach, bend, balance and transport various objects weighing up to 50 lbs. repeatedly during a shift.
