Missions :
The uniqueness of The Vineta Hotel requires a Barista with personality, passion, and an exceptional commitment to hospitality to create memorable coffee and beverage experiences for our guests. This role is responsible for preparing and serving premium coffee, tea, and specialty beverages while delivering warm, personalized service that reflects the hotel's luxury standards and creates meaningful guest connections at every interaction.

Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee beverages, teas, espresso-based drinks, and other café offerings according to established recipes, presentation standards, and guest preferences.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, menu offerings, ingredients, and preparation techniques to confidently engage with guests and provide recommendations.
Provide training to hoteliers working in a similar role or who manipulates the equipment and preparations.
Ensure all beverages and food items are prepared, presented, and served in accordance with the hotel's luxury service standards and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) expectations.
Monitor café and beverage station inventory, replenish supplies as needed, and communicate shortages or ordering needs to management.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all workstations, counters, equipment, display areas, seating areas, and storage locations.
Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, brewing equipment, point-of-sale systems, and related café equipment in accordance with operational procedures.
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper storage, handling, labeling, and rotation of products.
Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation, ensuring all items meet hotel standards.
Handle guest requests, concerns, and special preferences professionally and efficiently, escalating issues when appropriate to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
Maintain a welcoming and inviting café atmosphere by ensuring all guest-facing areas are clean, fully stocked, and visually appealing.
Collaborate closely with Food & Beverage, Culinary, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and Front Office teams to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout the property.
Follow all hotel policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergency response, and guest confidentiality.
Ensure personal appearance, grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards are maintained at all times and reflect the luxury image of The Vineta Hotel.
Actively contribute to a positive team environment that promotes collaboration, professionalism, and exceptional service.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the successful operation of the Food & Beverage department.
What you bring:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista, Coffee Attendant, or similar Food & Beverage position, preferably within a luxury hotel, resort, fine dining, or high-end coffee environment.
Coffee or espresso preparation certification preferred.
Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
Experience operating espresso machines, coffee grinders, POS systems, and related café equipment preferred.
High school graduate or equivalent vocational training.
Able to comprehend, read, write and speak basic English including workplace policies, job instructions, departmental and safety. Ability to clearly communicate with guests and hoteliers.
Full-Time Position.
Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
Ability to frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and handling objects and equipment; push, pull, grasp, lift or carry items weighing up to 30 lbs.
