Hotel La Palma - Capri’s first hotel, built in 1822, currently being transformed into an elegant and exclusive 50-room-and-suite hotel. Located mere steps from the famous Piazzetta, it will comprise a rooftop restaurant and bar, its own beach club, a newly built pool deck, a spa and a high-fashion boutique. The Food & Beverage outlets will be managed from Casa Tua, marking the brand’s first opening in Italy.

Missions: As an essential member of the Food & Beverage team, the Chef de Rang is dedicated to delivering an impeccable 5‑star dining experience rooted in professionalism, grace, and genuine hospitality. With a constant focus on cleanliness, efficiency, precision, and refined courtesy, the Chef de Rang ensures that every guest feels warmly welcomed, personally valued, and—whenever possible—addressed by name. The mission of this role is to elevate the guest journey through anticipatory service, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Profile: The Chef de Rang is expected to resolve service‑related or food‑quality concerns promptly at the first point of contact, maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of wines, beverages, food trends, and local venues, and consistently apply food‑safety and hygiene standards. The role requires strong decision‑making skills, emotional maturity, the ability to remain calm and focused in fast‑paced environments, and a sincere, courteous, and humble service style. Excellence in teamwork, open communication, accuracy in transactions, and respectful collaboration with internal partners—including culinary teams—is essential. The Chef de Rang fulfills all responsibilities with the highest integrity, adheres to hotel policies and core practices, and maintains proficiency with departmental equipment and POS systems. Additional duties may be assigned to support the smooth and elevated delivery of service.
