Mission: The Bartender is responsible for the planning, preparation and set-up, pre- and post-service of the front and back of house of the allocated bar. This is including, but no limited to, bar storeroom, bar top, associated lounge (where applicable); the bartender is also expected to maintain robust and complete knowledge of all cocktails, mocktails, specials etc and provide exceptional guest service.

Profile: 

• A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience within a luxury resort/hotel preferred.

• Strong knowledge of rums, spirits, etc with basic to intermediate knowledge of wines an asset.

• Knowledge of Micros an asset.

• Ability to communicate at all levels - excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work well independently with little supervision

• Physical capability to stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as exert physical effort in transporting bottles and cases, and endure various physical movements in the work area.

• Ability to work flexible hours

• Valid Antigua & Barbuda Driver's License and Food Handlers Certificate required
