Missions :
The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurants and pool areas, maintaining a high standard of guest service, safety, and cleanliness, to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Profile :
Supervise day-to-day operations of the restaurant and pool area to ensure high-quality food service, guest satisfaction, cleanliness, comfort, and enjoyment.
Greet and interact with guests in both the restaurant and pool areas ensuring a seamless and positive experience for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
Oversee and assist with the coordination of restaurant, pool, and room service hoteliers (servers, hostesses, bussers, etc.), ensuring proper hotelier staffing levels, training, and effective teamwork.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food handling, hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness, ensuring all restaurant and pool areas, including the pool, lounge chairs, towels, and surrounding areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
Enforce pool safety regulations, monitor pool activity, and address any safety concerns or emergencies immediately.
Manage guest interactions in the restaurant and pool area, providing exceptional customer service and attending to guest requests.
Ensure pool towels are available, clean, and properly distributed.
Monitor and report on pool water quality, ensuring adherence to local health and safety regulations in collaboration with the engineering department.
Supervise and train restaurant and pool hoteliers to ensure high performance, customer service excellence, and adherence to company policies.
Schedule hoteliers shift in coordination with management, ensuring adequate coverage for both restaurant and pool areas, and maintaining accurate records.
Maintain records of inventory levels for restaurant and pool area supplies.
Oversee the opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciling receipts.
Prepare and submit reports to management regarding operational performance, guest feedback, and hotelier staffing levels.
Conduct regular safety training for hoteliers, ensuring that all team members are aware of and follow proper safety protocols.
Conduct regular hoteliers meetings and performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching for improvement.
Build morale and spirit, interact positively with hoteliers and guests, and take action to resolve problems to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
Ensure that personal appearance and hygiene standards are an example for the team and reflect a professional image for our guests.
Inspire an elevated level of creativity, personal commitment to service excellence and an emotional sense of gracious hospitality to enhance the restaurant’s luxury ambience.
What you bring :
Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in a similar capacity with an understanding of hotel standards of service.
College degree in Food and Beverage/Hospitality Management preferred or equivalent experience.
Fluent in English; other languages considered an asset.
Full-Time Position.
Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Passionate for food and beverages, strives to exceed expectations for service excellence with demonstrated understanding of international fine dining, wine, beverage and service standards commensurate of the leading hotels in the world.
Outstanding abilities to build and maintain relationships and a regular client base, demonstrated ability to make a naturally positive, lasting impression, brilliant at recognizing and welcoming regular guests.
Strong leadership skills with extensive experience in high-end hospitality, keen business acumen, and a passion for delivering a world-class dining experience.
Knowledgeable of P&L, budgeting, forecasting, productivity analysis, labor costing, purchasing, inventory management/controls techniques.
Must be able to reach, bend, balance and transport various objects weighing up to 50 lbs. repeatedly during a shift.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis at the time of application. Visa sponsorship is not available for the position.
