Missions : 

The uniqueness of The Vineta Hotel requires a Door Attendant to greet and welcome our guests at the main entrance of the hotel, assist them with their luggage, providing directions, and answering questions about the hotel and surrounding area, creating a personalized and unparalleled arrival and departure experience for our guests.

Profile : 

• Maintain a straight and alert position at the hotel entrance, open doors for arriving and departing guests while offering a warm welcome to create an unsurpassed experience for our guests.
• Walk guests and visitors to and from their vehicles, opening and closing of vehicle doors and offering to assist with their luggage and packages. Offer guests information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Answer inquiries and provide recommendations as needed in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Assist with delivering items such as room service orders, packages, or other guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring a high standard of service.
• Ensure the lobby and main entrance are clean and always organized. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Build rapport with guests, anticipating their needs and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay.
• Efficiently manage time to prioritize tasks and ensure timely service to our guests.

What you bring :

• Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in a similar capacity within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Full Time Position.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluent in English; other languages considered an asset.
• Guest-centric approach and skilled in managing the flow of guests and luggage during arrivals and departures.
• Genuinely warm presence, friendly, sincere, and outgoing nature, leading by positive example to strive for service excellence and warm hospitality.
• Ability to apply conflict resolution and critical thinking skills in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to stand continuously and perform job functions during shift.
• Must be able to reach, stooping, kneeling, twisting, bending, balancing, lifting, pushing, pulling, and transporting various objects weighing up to 75 lbs. repeatedly during a shift.
