Missions: Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and baths under supervision of housekeeping supervisor. Room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, and friendly and should also be able to address guest requests and problems.
Profile: The role involves thoroughly cleaning and refreshing assigned rooms according to schedule, including changing sheets, making beds, removing dirty linen and waste, and cleaning bathrooms. It requires organizing furniture and decorative items, ensuring proper supply of clean linen, towels, bathrobes, and amenities, and maintaining cleanliness in common areas such as corridors, stairs, and elevators. The position includes safeguarding guests’ personal belongings, restocking carts and storage areas, and reporting complaints, issues, defective products, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor. Adherence to hotel quality standards, dress code, and proper use of tools is essential. Duties also include preparing rooms for turndown service, responding to guest requests, and performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors. The role requires regular communication with supervisors, reporting lost and found items, shortages, and collaborating with engineering and front desk teams. Responsibilities extend to handling laundry carts, transporting small equipment, assisting with room moves, and ensuring efficient operations in line with instructions.
